Despite efforts to reduce costs and stabilize its operations, the company experienced a decline in revenue within a context of structural decline in the organic and bulk sectors post-COVID. The prospects for revenue growth were limited, particularly due to inflation and the purchasing power crisis, which pushed consumers toward non-organic alternatives. Rising energy costs and rent indexation further worsened the situation. With no short-term profitability in sight, Les Halles Coopératives decided to liquidate the company.

Les Halles de Manèges offers a local and biological food distribution model that promotes regional products, selected with care and in cooperation with the producers. Founded in Mons in 2016, Les Halles provides local and varied bioproducts. Serving as a distributor, the project is heading in a new direction by collaborating with the cooperation FARM, notably to diversify its source of supply. |
