Pitch

Important

Presentation

Exoneo is a startup that develops a range of innovative, low-cost foot and knee prostheses capable of reproducing the movement of natural limbs. Exoneo uses a method of analysis of the movement of living organisms, called biomimicry, to create purely mechanical solutions that allow the replaced limb to behave like the natural limb. This method provides ease of use, allowing a natural walking cycle to be restored, while optimising design and maintenance costs, to enable industrialisation and rapid commercial development. The company's breakthrough innovations thus make it possible to offer a more appropriate response to the very important needs of developing countries and conflict zones, particularly for amputees. The company now wishes to continue its R&D efforts to improve these solutions and to be able to enter a first phase of tests as early as 2018.
